Starting relays for starter capacitors
Electronic device technology / Starting relays
The electronic starting relay is used to switch off motor starting capacitors after an adjustable time.
Nominal input voltage for a voltage range of 80-120V or 110-230V
The electronic starting relay is used in all areas where the starting capacitor is switched off after the motor starts up.
- Single-phase motors
- Three-phase motors on single-phase mains (Steinmetz circuit)
The electronic starting relay switches off the motor starting capacitor, contact-free, after an adjustable delay time. The delay time corresponds to the time from switching on the motor under nominal load until it runs up to the nominal speed.
- Unbeatable reliability thanks to the use of wear-free components
- Compact design for mounting in the motor connection box
- Easier to install and adjust than centrifugal switches
- Optimum motor torque due to time-adjustable switch-off of the starting capacitor
- Full suppression of sparking during switching, in contrast to mechanical switches
- Compact design, despite higher switching currents
